“Why do you create such heavy works? Couldn't you paint something nicer? "...
I think my painting is linked to unique experiences that I have had.
On the one hand, from a young age, I followed my parents during interviews and witnessed the struggles and conflicts between the poor, aroused to deflect social tensions. They were deliberately tamed, made stupid, enslaved, harmed.
On the other hand, I had the opportunity to see the people who hold power, to see the cruelty of political decisions and political struggles. I saw the real logic and methods behind policy making. I saw the arrogance of power and the bottomless pit of desires that spring from money.
I often ask myself:
“So what happened?” For what ? »
